The anchors go into the structural slab or parapet — never just plaster — so the load path runs into concrete.

Each cable is tensioned to take an adult's full leaning weight, and the system as a whole is sized to your span at the survey: longer drops get intermediate supports so the cables cannot be pried apart. Because nothing is welded, the install is reversible — a real advantage with society committees and at rental properties.

The 50 mm vertical gap is the child-safety standard for cable grills: too narrow for a toddler's head or torso, and because the cables run vertically with no horizontal members, there is nothing to use as a ladder — the failure mode of every welded grill with decorative horizontal bars.

The alloy matters more than anything else in the spec. SS304 stainless steel costs about 15% less and looks identical on day one — then pits and corrodes within 3–5 years in coastal, humid or polluted air, which describes most Indian cities. SS316 (marine grade) carries added molybdenum and survives 25+ years in the same conditions; it is the alloy used on ships and oil rigs.
