The buyer is Rajkot's business family trading up, the professional drawn by the company offices that line the road, and — more than anywhere else in the city — the NRI who wants a gated, professionally managed society to come home to. Apple Elegance's two-bedroom blocks bring in salaried first-time buyers at the far end. What they share is a balcony at a height their parents never lived at, and a society committee that cares how the elevation looks from the road.

The local condition is dust rather than industry. Rajkot is a CPCB non-attainment city and roughly two-thirds of its PM10 is road dust and construction, and the Kalavad Road monitoring station has recorded some of the worst numbers in the city. The west belt is a live construction zone, the road itself carries BRTS and arterial traffic, and summer runs past forty-two degrees.
