Invisible grill price per sq ft —
₹95–149 installed, city by city.

₹95 per sq.ft installed across Gujarat and most non-metro cities, and ₹135–149 per sq.ft in Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Noida and the rest of Maharashtra — SS316 cables, anodised track, hardware, labour and a 10-year written warranty included, GST extra. SS316 cable on its own starts from ₹85/sq.ft. Within a city, windows and balconies share one rate. Pick your city in the calculator to see its exact figure.

100 sq.ft × ₹95 = ₹9,500 + 18% GST ≈ ₹11,210 in Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara or Rajkot. 100 sq.ft × ₹149 = ₹14,900 + GST ≈ ₹17,580 in Mumbai, Delhi NCR or Noida. The rate is per square foot of opening, so a 10 ft × 10 ft balcony and a pair of 5 ft × 10 ft windows cost the same.

The estimate is a tight range based on your dimensions, product type and city. The final firm quote is set after a free on-site survey — your matched installer measures the actual opening, confirms the anchor type (concrete, brick, parapet), and itemises material vs labour vs GST in writing.

SS304 stainless steel costs about 15% less than SS316 but corrodes in 3–5 years in coastal, humid or polluted environments — which covers most of India. SS316 (marine grade) is the same alloy used in oil rigs and survives 25+ years on a balcony. Installers in the A1 Grills network do not warranty against salt-air corrosion on SS304 installs.

The per-sq.ft rate covers SS316 cables, anodised aluminium top and bottom tracks, marine-grade anchors, end-caps, installation labour, and the installer's written 10-year warranty. GST is extra. Pet mesh, child-safety mesh and decorative options are quoted separately.

Installer invoices in the network usually classify a fitted invisible grill under HSN 7308 (iron or steel structures and parts, which covers grills) or HSN 7326 (other articles of iron or steel); SS316 cable sold on its own falls under HSN 7312 (stranded wire and ropes), and installation billed as a works-contract service uses SAC 9954. All of these attract 18% GST — which is why every rate on this site is quoted GST extra and the calculator adds 18%. Ask your installer for the itemised GST invoice; it shows the exact code they file under, and you need it to claim input credit on a commercial job.

Yes to both in most Gujarat cities. At ₹95/sq.ft a 60 sq.ft window or a small 5 ft × 10 ft balcony lands at ₹5,700 before GST (₹6,726 with GST), and installers in the network accept single-window jobs. Very small openings are quoted at a minimum of roughly 50 sq.ft because the survey visit, anchors and track ends cost the same whether the cable run is 4 ft or 8 ft. In Mumbai, Delhi NCR and Maharashtra the same window is ₹8,100–8,940 before GST.

Yes. Floor height does not change the per-sq.ft rate — the cable, track and anchors are identical on the 2nd and the 22nd floor. The two things that move the quote are an openable section and a non-standard anchor surface (parapet coping, ACP cladding, hollow-block walls). Access equipment is never billed on an apartment job because installation happens from inside the balcony.

Submit your details with the estimate and a verified installer calls within 2 working hours. Network installers typically honour the calculator band for 30 days from the on-site visit, subject to material price stability.
