How much does an invisible grill cost per sq ft in India?
SS316 marine-grade invisible grills start at ₹145/sq.ft for windows and ₹165/sq.ft for balconies in most Indian cities. Coastal and metro pricing (Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore) runs ₹175–₹195/sq.ft. The calculator on this page returns a city-specific band including material, labour and 10-year warranty — GST extra.
Is the estimate the final price?
The estimate is a tight range based on your dimensions, product type and city. The final firm quote is set after a free on-site survey — our crew measures the actual opening, confirms the anchor type (concrete, brick, parapet), and itemises material vs labour vs GST in writing.
Why is SS304 cheaper but not recommended?
SS304 stainless steel costs about 15% less than SS316 but corrodes in 3–5 years in coastal, humid or polluted environments — which covers most of India. SS316 (marine grade) is the same alloy used in oil rigs and survives 25+ years on a balcony. A1 Grills does not warranty against salt-air corrosion on SS304 installs.
What does the price include?
The per-sq.ft rate covers SS316 cables, anodised aluminium top and bottom tracks, marine-grade anchors, end-caps, installation labour, and our written 10-year warranty. GST is extra. Pet mesh, child-safety mesh and decorative options are quoted separately.
