Honest, Plain-English Terms
Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of a1grills.in and how we connect you with independent, verified installer partners. A1 Grills is an introducer — the installation contract and its warranty are between you and the installer you choose.
Effective from 17 May 2026 · Last updated 17 May 2026
1. About these terms
This website (a1grills.in) is operated by A1 Grills, with operations based at Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380001, India. By using this site, requesting a quote, or engaging an installer we introduce you to, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.
A1 Grills is a marketplace / introducer, not an installer. We connect you with independent, verified installer partners. We do not manufacture, install, or take payment for installations. Any quotation, installation contract and warranty is agreed directly between you and the installer you choose. A1 Grills facilitates the introduction and helps mediate disputes (see our Refund & Dispute Policy) but is not a party to that contract.
These terms operate together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data.
2. The quote form and lead enquiries
When you submit the quote form, click a WhatsApp button, or call the number on our website, you are asking us to connect you with one or more verified installer partners who can provide a price estimate and a free site visit. You confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law.
- The phone number you have submitted belongs to you (or to the property owner on whose behalf you are enquiring) and you are authorised to receive calls and WhatsApp messages on it from us.
- The information you have provided is true, accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
- You consent to us contacting you about your enquiry over call, WhatsApp, SMS or email, even if your number is registered on the National Do Not Call (NDNC) registry. This consent applies only to messages directly related to your enquiry and our service.
Submitting the form does not by itself create a contract — not with A1 Grills, and not with any installer. Pricing is firmed up only after an on-site survey by the installer partner you choose and a signed quotation issued by that installer.
3. Pricing, site visit, and the contract
Prices shown on the website (including the pricing calculator and on installer partner cards) are indicative price bands, in Indian Rupees, exclusive of GST, based on standard openings, standard anchors and the cities we serve. They are guidance only — A1 Grills does not set or guarantee installer prices. Final pricing is set by the installer partner you choose, only after their free on-site survey, where the installer’s surveyor measures the actual opening, confirms the anchor type (RCC, brick, stone, parapet) and the access conditions, and itemises material, labour and GST in a written quotation.
The installation contract is between you and the installer, not A1 Grills. A binding contract for installation is formed only when you accept the installer’s written quotation (in writing, on WhatsApp, or by paying the advance) and the installer issues a work order. The quotation is valid for the period stated on it (typically 30 days from the survey).
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the installer’s quotation, the price covers SS316 cables, anodised aluminium tracks, marine-grade anchors, end-caps, installation labour and the written warranty. It does not cover masonry repair, scaffolding outside the building, painting, or any modifications required to the structure itself.
4. Payment terms
You pay the installer partner directly. A1 Grills collects no payment for installations — as the introducer, we are not a party to the payment. The terms below are agreed between you and the installer you choose, and are set out in their quotation.
- A typical engagement runs on a 50% advance / 50% on completionbasis, unless the installer’s quotation specifies otherwise.
- Payments may be made to the installer by UPI, NEFT/RTGS, IMPS or cheque. Installers do not accept cash for amounts above the limit prescribed under Section 269ST of the Income-tax Act, 1961.
- A GST invoice is issued by the installer on full payment. The GST rate applied is the rate notified by the Government of India for the relevant HSN/SAC code at the time of supply.
- Any extra work agreed during installation (additional openings, larger spans, decorative options) is billed by the installer as a written change order, signed by you, before that work starts.
5. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation and refunds for installation work are handled by the installer partner you choose, under the terms you agree with them in their quotation. A1 Grills, as the introducer, does not hold your installation payment, but will mediate disputes in line with our Refund & Dispute Policy. The terms below are typical of network installers and are set out in the installer’s quotation.
- You may cancel a confirmed order at any time before the installer cuts materials to your measurements. The installer will refund the advance within 7 working days, minus any survey or travel costs explicitly disclosed in the quotation.
- Once the installer has cut materials to your specific opening dimensions, the advance becomes non-refundable, because the cut material cannot be re-used for another customer.
- If the installer cannot perform the installation for reasons within their control (e.g. crew unavailability, material delay beyond the promised date), you may cancel and the installer will refund 100% of the advance you have paid.
- Invisible-grill installations are made to measure. They are therefore exempt from any general “return / exchange” right after installation. Warranty claims are handled under Section 7.
6. Installation, access and your responsibilities
To help the installer partner deliver a safe and on-schedule installation, you agree to:
- Provide the installer’s crew safe and unobstructed access to the openings, with working electrical sockets within reach.
- Obtain any permission required from your housing society, building owner or municipal authority for the work. The installer’s surveyor can advise on what is typically required, but the permission itself remains your responsibility.
- Confirm that the wall, parapet, frame or other anchor surface is structurally sound. If the installer’s surveyor flags a doubtful anchor, the installer will not install until the underlying structure is repaired by a qualified mason engaged by you.
- Keep children and pets away from the work area during installation. Power-tool dust and short cable offcuts can be hazardous.
- Inspect the completed installation in the installer crew’s presence and sign off on the work-completion sheet. Any visible defect must be raised at this point or within 48 hours.
7. Warranty
The warranty is provided by the installer partner who performs the work — not by A1 Grills. Network installers commonly warrant the SS316 cable, aluminium track, and their workmanship for up to 10 years from the date of installation; during this period the installer will, at their option, repair or replace any component that fails due to a manufacturing defect or installation fault, at no charge for materials or labour. A1 Grills does not itself warrant the installation, but requires network installers to provide a written warranty and will mediate warranty disputes in line with our Refund & Dispute Policy.
The installer’s warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, by sustained climbing or sitting on the cables, or by tampering with the tracks or anchors.
- Damage caused by external events: fire, flooding, building movement, structural collapse, or work done on the building by third parties.
- Corrosion or discolouration caused by the installation being painted over, chemically cleaned with abrasives, or brought into prolonged contact with non-stainless metals.
- Any installation where the customer declined a recommended anchor repair or accepted a sub-standard anchor noted in writing by the installer’s surveyor.
- Installations on SS304 (installers typically do not warrant SS304 against salt-air corrosion — please see the pricing FAQ).
A warranty claim is made to the installer who performed the work, using the contact details on your installation invoice. If you are unable to reach the installer, or need help with a claim, you can also call or message A1 Grills on +91 99257 43957 or email hello@a1grills.in with photos and your installation invoice, and we will help mediate. We typically respond within 48 hours.

12. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Subject to that, because you pay A1 Grills nothing as the introducer, our liability to you is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. The installation, its workmanship and its outcomes are the responsibility of the installer partner you choose, under the contract between you and that installer. In no event are we liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of rental income, loss of business, or loss of data.
13. Grievance redressal
If you have a complaint about an installation, a warranty claim, or your experience on this website, please contact our Grievance Officer first. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days, in line with Rule 4 of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may approach the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission having jurisdiction over your place of residence under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or the appropriate authority under any other applicable law.
14. Force majeure
We are not liable for any delay or failure in performing our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, fire, floods, pandemics, lockdowns, riots, strikes, acts of government, or failures of public infrastructure. Where a force-majeure event continues for more than 60 days, either party may cancel the order and the installer will refund the unused portion of any advance.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by, and shall be construed in accordance with, the laws of India. Subject to the consumer forum rights described in Section 13, the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or our services.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time as our service or the law changes. The version that applies to a specific installation is the version in force on the date your quotation is accepted. The current version is always available at https://www.a1grills.in/terms, with the “Last updated” date shown at the top of the page.
