2mm SS316 cables become visually invisible from a few feet away — your skyline stays yours.
Saket, Delhi
Saket is a 1980s DDA colony that grew a district centre next door. Blocks A to N and Press Enclave are row houses and walk-up SFS flats with a balcony on every floor; Pushp Vihar's sectors add the DDA court-staff complexes; Select Citywalk and the Yellow Line sit at the edge. There are no towers here — just thirty-year-old balconies whose painted grills have outlived their paint, on homes now worth three crore.

Living in Saket
Saket proper is DDA low-rise laid out on the lands of Khirki, Said-ul-Ajaib and Hauz Rani villages: the SFS flats of J Block and A Block, the F and K blocks, and Press Enclave — the journalists' co-operative that named Press Enclave Marg — a mixture of row houses, two-storey and multi-storey walk-ups, with the eighteen-acre Sports Complex in the middle. East of it, Pushp Vihar's Sectors 1 to 6 are DDA ground-plus structures and the staff complexes beside the Saket District Court — the RWA DDA flats of L Block in Sector 6 and the Saket Court Residential Complex. The only tall buildings are the malls and offices of the District Centre; on the Neb Sarai and Pushp Vihar fringes, eighty-to-hundred-square-yard plots are being rebuilt as stilt-plus-four builder floors under the 2023 bye-laws.
The residents are corporate professionals, expats, retirees and long-settled allottee families in Saket proper; middle and upper-middle-class business and government households in Pushp Vihar; and, beyond MB Road, the farmhouses of Sainik Farms. Select Citywalk, DLF Avenue, Max Smart Hospital, Amity and Apeejay, and the Saket and Malviya Nagar Yellow Line stations anchor daily life. A J Block SFS flat now asks close to three crore, and the DDA's ageing stock is a live city-wide story — the retrofit market, not a new-build one.
The conditions are south Delhi's. The Karni Singh and R K Puram monitors bracket the colony and run through the poor-to-severe band from October to February, coating balcony rails with fine particulate; the Saket metro station gates have closed for waterlogging in 2021 and 2024 and Hauz Rani junction floods most monsoons; with the Saket forest wedge and the Mehrauli ridge next door, monkeys are part of balcony life in the posher south Delhi colonies, as the local MLA has put on record. A painted grill in that mix rusts at every weld; two-millimetre SS316 cable at two-inch spacing on anodised track does not, keeps a monkey out as surely as a child in, and sits inside the balcony line with no projection an RWA can object to.
Verified partner crews in the A1 Grills network quote ₹149 per square foot installed across Saket and Pushp Vihar. Most jobs are individual — a first- or second-floor DDA balcony and its windows, a builder-floor terrace edge on the fringe — with block-wide bookings where an RWA takes it up. Everything is fitted from inside the home, load-tested on handover and covered by the installer's 10-year written warranty.
Crews cover all of Saket — blocks A to N, Press Enclave Marg, the Sports Complex side, Pushp Vihar Sectors 1–6 and the District Centre, up to the Malviya Nagar and Sainik Farms edges.

What Delhi customers say
FAQ · Saket
₹149 per square foot installed, in writing after a free site visit — SS316 marine-grade cable, anodised aluminium track, stainless tensioners and labour. A J Block or Press Enclave balcony of around 30 square feet plus two windows is a one-day job. You are matched with up to 2 verified installers to compare quotes; Delhi quotes well under ₹120 are usually SS304 cable, so ask for the grade certificate.
It is a real barrier. The 2 mm SS316 cables are tensioned at 2-inch spacing and each takes around 250 kg of horizontal load, so a monkey cannot squeeze through or pull one aside the way it can an open railing, and there is nothing to swing on. It is not a cage — the view stays open — but for forest-edge and park-facing blocks it is the difference between a balcony you use and one you keep shut.
Cable grills sit inside the balcony line, add no external projection and are fully reversible, which is why block RWAs in DDA colonies usually raise no objection; the DDA's permissible-alterations guideline lists grills in the verandah with proper fixing as allowed. Installers give you a one-page spec sheet to share with the RWA before the visit if your block asks.
Usually within 24 hours. The network matches you with verified installers near you on the south Delhi side, so blocks A to N, Press Enclave, the Pushp Vihar sectors, the District Centre side and the MB Road edge are all short trips. Measurement takes about half an hour, the written quote follows the same day, and the install is load-tested in front of you before the crew leaves.
