On pol facades and older Maninagar blocks the crew works off the reveal instead: hooks go into the window or balcony opening itself, or into the RCC lintel above it, and the mesh is tensioned inside the opening rather than stretched across the face of the wall. It holds better on old masonry and it looks tidier from the street — which matters when four neighbours share one frontage.
